Podlantic was founded in Cape Town by two co-founders who kept meeting the same practice owner: brilliant at the clinical work, buried under everything around it. Credentialing queues, empty recruiting pipelines, a website nobody could find — each handed to a different vendor, none of whom could see the others.

The conviction behind the company came from watching those vendors fail separately:

Before Podlantic, the team behind it built and ran operations at iStore, Vodacom and Netcare — retail, telecoms and healthcare at national scale.

Podlantic is a registered South African company, majority-held by the Vundla Group.
